Puppy Progress and More Parent Pictures

Oh wow has this been an experience! I've helped birth several cats...and well...several rats too :-)

This one with the pups was a much bigger experience (profound, I know) and even heart breaking.


But today! 17 days later all the pups are doing very well. Eyes are open, every one is fat and happy and mom is doing very well. And she is a great first time mom.

German Shepherd Puppies

Oh wow am I tired. Probably not as tired as my girl Cheyenne but pretty close I'm sure. We had a very rough 30+ hours.

She went into beginning labor around midnight March 4th and had her first pup 1:30 pm.

Pictures of mom and some babes. Whew. We can rest now for a little while. Sort of :-)
